Codifying Finance is founded by Andy Lin, a high school senior, to educate youths and teenagers on finance and coding. When he was young, he liked to play with puzzles and legos which requires building and thinking since there are no instructions. During sophomore year in high school, he took a computer science and a drafting course. To him, coding is the digital version of legos and puzzles: AutoCad puts everything into 3D view while coding is similar to puzzles because of the pieces it requires to make a program work. In his junior year, he took an economic course and it demonstrated him the importance of finance in business. Being able to manipulate and manage money benefits a company to a great extent. In his perspective, coding and finance are two large puzzle pieces of the world since the modern world focuses on the economy and technological advances are increasing. Therefore, being able to enhance knowledge in finance and coding will help advance the world at a faster rate. This is why he founded this platform: to educate people on coding and finance.
